Just talked with OH about this and he thought it was incredibly disrespectful to go into her house and do this - what if she had someone with her?

But by all means, keep on teaching 'respect', bro.....

The funny thing is that you read the comments on this and they're like, "mad respect bro" and "this is the way it should be". Good grief!! I'm super grateful that DH can't stand to be around or talk to BM. I'd NEVER stand for that.

I told OH about this and he was gobsmacked!

Mine too... he joked and was like, "oh so I should cancel that plane ticket I bought to go do that?" haha I smacked him....he was like "I'd be ok with never having to see BM again"....she usually isn't there anyway for the drop offs anyway....this just blows my mind honestly....

I would be so freaked out to find my ex-husband in MY kitchen...lol *yuck*

Not sure if this link posted or if I am allowed lol...but I know this story has been posted already on this forum, I just couldn't find it. But this is the story of the guy who posted on facebook that he goes and cooks breakfast for his ex-wife at her house and brings her flowers in an effort to show his kids how to treat a woman.

MAKES MY SKIN CRAWL! and my blood boil. Not only is this the worst example for your kids but I seriously doubt this man has a girlfriend/wife and the same for his ex (not having a SO). He is teaching them how to NOT be able to let go...confusing them even more and showing that boundaries are ok to cross. I am ok with a scenario where your kid says, "oh, it's BM's birthday, can we get a card and flowers for her (or whatever they come up with) so I can take it to her when I go back home?" ....fine with me....in a perfect world, each partner would be over the other, no jealousy from either side, and each parent could communicate in a civil manner....but life doesn't work that way...what needs to happen is this man needs to spend more quality time with his kids and show he can converse with their mother in a healthy manner but show the kids that what REALLY matters is them....not her or their failed relationship...THAT will set a good and healthy example for their kids and not confuse them in the process on whether their parents are together or not...lol I mean might as well move back in!

I know that it would be a COLD ARCTIC FRIGID day in hell if OH EVER went over to BM's house and did that every year....my OH would need to learn to be single cause I would dump him so fast his head would spin....and I am pretty sure every other woman in this world would do the same....and every man for that matter!

UGH made my skin crawl and blood boil! I know this has already been posted but had to repost for dramatic effect haha  ;)
